Asbury First Holiday Branding

Branding and themes for the major holidays: Easter and Christmas. At Asbury First United Methodist Church, the major holidays are filled to the brim with events and services to honor the birth and death of Jesus Christ.

Lent

Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent lead the way to Easter Sunday. The theme for Lent in 2021 was "Seeds in the Wilderness," and focused on what you can give — such as love, mercy, kindness — instead of what you can give up.

Holy Week

During Holy Week, there are unique worship services for Maundy Thursday, which includes communion and a renactment of the crucifixion; and the "Envisioning the Passion" Good Friday service, which showcases Holy Week-themed art and choral music.
