Program Campaign
While working at the University of Birmingham in England, I had the opportunity to design for a special joint project between the university and St. Basils charity, which helps homeless young people get back on their feet. I designed the ‘Mental Skills Training for Life’ support material as well as promotional material for a new pilot program for ‘Parenting Young People.’ These programs have earned national recognition, including several visits from HRH Prince William.
MST4Life Coniston, UK Trip
Once a young homeless person is accepted to the weeklong trip to Coniston, UK, which is in England's Lake District, they receive this ticket with information about what to bring and what to expect on the journey. Then, after completing the trip, each person writes a postcard to commemorate their experience and to remember the skills learned on the trip.
Parenting Young People
The 'Parenting Young People' program is working toward helping parents be better equipped to handle parenting teens that may be at risk of becoming homeless.
